TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
TO DO NYC TRAVEL PACKAGES:
NYC & Company the
Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has developed a campaign designed to
generate travel to New York City.
“To do NYC
Travel Packages” will consist of three incredible packages to be
offered by all distribution channels and available from June 1,
2002
until September
15, 2002.
The concept of the promotion is to ensure that no matter where a consumer
purchases one of these packages, the price and inclusions will be
the same. The goal is to unify the tourism industry of New York
City
with the common goal of generating immediate business.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS:
Bookings are not accepted 10 business days prior to departure.
Reservations must be guaranteed at the time of booking with a
credit card. Once payment has been received, a cancellation fee of
no less than $200* per person will apply.
FORM OF PAYMENTS: American Express is the official credit card of NYC &
Company. Packages may be purchased with MasterCard, Visa, Discover
Card, company checks and wire transfers.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICIES:
All cancellations
must be made with NYCVP, not directly with individual suppliers.
Cancellation fees are $100 per person if under deposit.
Cancellation fees are $150 per person if received within 30 days of
arrival. Cancellation fees are $200 per person if received within
15 days of arrival. Cancellations received within 3 days of arrival
are non-refundable. Air ticket cancellations or changes will
require additional charges. No refunds will be considered until all
documents are returned to NYCVP. Once a reservation is made a $35
per person change will apply to for changes. Changes requiring
reissue of documents will also incur a $45 fee.
REFUNDS: Unused
or partially used vouchers are non-refundable.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be mailed to you. Travel documents for
travel agents and customers from other countries will be mailed
directly to the hotel and will be waiting for the clients upon
check-in. Changes requiring reissue of documents will also incur a
$45* fee.
You
should
examine your documents upon receipt to insure information is
correct. If documents are not received 10 days prior to departure,
you must contact us immediately. If you fail to notify us,
additional fees may apply.
CUSTOMIZING PACKAGES: You are encouraged to purchase other tour elements in
conjunction with the To do NYC Travel Packages. You can contact us
if you wish to book additional elements such as extra Broadway
shows.
THE FULFILLMENT
CENTER'S responsibility is to ensure proper reservations. Tour services are
furnished by independent contractors. The responsibility of
delivering service rests entirely with the providers of the
service. Please contact us immediately if you have any problems on
your trip. We will intervene to ensure your satisfaction.
Acceptance of any tour package from us shall release NYCVP from
responsibility in any way for any injury or liability arising from
the performance of, or failure to perform such services.
