
Barry Tenenbaum, a native New Yorker, is a graduate of CCNY Bernard Baruch School of Public and
Business Administration, and entered the travel industry in the Marketing Department of
LibGo, one of the largest retail and wholesale travel companies in the U.S. He served as
President of a chain of retail travel agencies in Eastern Pennsylvania before establishing
Tenenbaums Travel Services, Inc., an organization of 4 retail agencies, 2 wholesale
operations and a nationwide cruise-only enterprise.
As well as serving on the travel agent
advisory board of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, he has received local and statewide awards
as Small Business Person of the Year, and has been featured in several periodicals for his
entrepreneurial successes.
It was Barry's vision to create a
tour operation focusing exclusively on New York City that led to his
founding of NYCVP
in 1997. Dedicated to providing travel agents with a professional and
knowledgeable booking source to one of the world's most popular
destinations, Barry oversaw the creation and development of the Company
to its pre-eminence in the travel industry.

maintaining an impeccable relationship with such companies as US
Airways, Amtrak, United Airlines, Starwood Hotels, Gray Line, Better Business Bureau and
the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau (NYC & Co.). |

Joel Cohen has worked closely with Barry for over 25 years in the travel agency and wholesale
environments.
Joel graduated from Temple
University School of Business Administration and attended its Law School. He is an
accomplished speaker, having appeared at many travel industry events including the ASTA
World Congress, and has had articles published regularly in Travel Weekly and
Tour and Travel News. He has been named to Whos Who of American Business
Leaders.
Joel was a consultant to the leisure travel
industry, offering his experience and knowledge to retail and wholesale travel companies.
He wrote a series of articles on Selling for Travel Weekly.
Joel instituted most of the policies and procedures of
NYCVP, and developed the Company's reservation system and infrastructure. His
"customer first" attitude is a major reason why travel agents and travelers
embrace the Company so loyally. He has developed a great rapport with both travel agencies
and industry suppliers. |
