Barry Tenenbaum, a native New Yorker, is a graduate of CCNY Bernard Baruch School of Public and Business Administration, and entered the travel industry in the Marketing Department of LibGo, one of the largest retail and wholesale travel companies in the U.S. He served as President of a chain of retail travel agencies in Eastern Pennsylvania before establishing Tenenbaum’s Travel Services, Inc., an organization of 4 retail agencies, 2 wholesale operations and a nationwide cruise-only enterprise.

As well as serving on the travel agent advisory board of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, he has received local and statewide awards as Small Business Person of the Year, and has been featured in several periodicals for his entrepreneurial successes.

It was Barry's vision to create a tour operation focusing exclusively on New York City that led to his founding of NYCVP in 1997. Dedicated to providing travel agents with a professional and knowledgeable booking source to one of the world's most popular destinations, Barry oversaw the creation and development of the Company to its pre-eminence in the travel industry.

Barry's ethical standards of business are responsible for NYCVP maintaining an impeccable relationship with such companies as US Airways, Amtrak, United Airlines, Starwood Hotels, Gray Line, Better Business Bureau and the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau (NYC & Co.).
